Outfit of the day oct 31 2014

I don’t have any inspiration today, so I wil just post a picture of my outfit of the day. Now that I have lost 35 kilo (77 lbs) it is much nicer already to go shopping and dress up a little. I also love wearing dresses and skirts at the moment. If only because I hate buying new jeans all the time. After a few weeks they’re way too big already and I need new ones, while I can wear skirts and dresses much longer. Today I was wearing a black skirt from H&M and a white/cream colored pullover from C&A. Nothing expensive, but I did feel pretty happy about it.

Winter shopping inspiration

Since I have lost all this weight already, I can shop for tops and sweaters in the ‘normal’ stores already. I am still wearing their largest size at the moment, but of course that will only get better in the next month. Since I hardly have any winter clothes yet, I have been checking out the new sweaters at Wehkamp. Searching at the women’s department instead of the plus size section made me smile. This is so awesome! I can’t wait to go shopping for real.

Sweaters 01Blue has always been one of my favorite colors, followed by purple and pink… For clothes I have a thing for black and dark colors in general, but sometimes it’s nice to add a little bit of color as well. Did I mention I love cats?

Sweaters 02Stripes are always great. Last season I had this lovely blue & white striped sweater that I got at Evans, but it’s way too big now and therefore I need something else. So the one on the right could be a nice new version.

Crazy Sweaters

These are maybe not the kind of sweaters I could wear at work, but I still find them quite funny. I just love tops and sweaters with words on it. So I needed to share these as well.

I don’t own theĀ images that are used in this blog post, they are property of Wehkamp.nlĀ

New hair cut for a new life

Weight lost: 28,4 kilo (62,6 lbs)

2014-08-14 12.15.14-2In the past weeks I have been nagging everyone about my hair. Since it has started to fall out I feel like a cat in her molting period. Luckily I have a lot of hair, so it would take a while for me to go bald. I don’t think that will happen anytime soon. Even so I thought it was a good idea to do something about my hair to make me feel happier about it. So a new hair cut was a good idea in my opinion.

What can I say? I went to the hairdresser’s and told her I wanted something else, a bit shorter, maybe a bob line. She agreed and tadaaaa! There we go. No more pony tails for me for a while and I guess the people around me love that a lot. Not sure how much I am going to love it, but at least it looks great and it feels rather light and nice. Who knew that the new me would even dare to do something different with her hair?
